An interesting male Ibeji figure, with very flat feet standing on a perfect circular base, the genitalia somewhat accentuated, the male chest almost girlish, round shoulders, the exceptional mouth is open and has the shape of a horizontal 0, the unusually round eyes look like snap fasteners, also the ears are almost circular, braided hairstyle in the middle built up to an iroquois-like crest, horizontal and vertical scarifications on the cheeks, around neck and hips strings with black discs which are said to offer protection from Abiku, the powerful spirit of “children born to die“. Not classifiable in the Polo/David system; dark wood with signs of age and use.
